Know Yourself
Before meeting with a wedding officiant, take a few moments to reflect with your fiancé, asking some questions: How do you see me? What do you want in a wedding ceremony? What do you expect of me? What is your secret hope?
Be Yourself
When you meet with your potential officiant, attempt to be yourself, not someone you would like to be. Don’t try to make a good impression. The ceremony you want will come out of who you are, exactly as you are. Maybe what you call a fault is the thing that attracted your fiancé to you, in the first place.

Don’t Censor Yourself
Many of us wonder what’s appropriate to ask of an officiant? Don’t censor your questions. Maybe that will give insight into your desires for the perfect ceremony. There are no inappropriate questions. Or if there are, he or she will tell you, and hopefully go forward.
In Whose Name?
In whose name do you want to be married? Some like the traditional: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Ghost). Others like the Spirit of Love. It’s also possible to not mention any name of a heavenly person or higher power. Just in the officiant’s authority.
Serious, Humorous or a Combination
Do you want a ceremony that is formal, serious and profound? Or would you prefer one with laughter, showing your lighter side? Or would you prefer a combination of the two: the seriousness of your commitment to the lightness and joy of your relationship?.

Fulfilling Your Dreams
Many have dreams of the perfect ceremony. Any thing is possible. Put it out there to see if it can be made manifest. You may be surprised.
Best Wishes that Your Dreams of the Perfect Ceremony Will be Fulfilled
