Thought #1:
A very current trend is the use of Tiffany blue with another accent color.  Just remember the issue for florist is there is no tiffany blue flower and white and cream are over used.  Here is an example of Tiffany blue used with shades of blue, such as Iris, and a complementary color such as Apricot or Lemon Yellow.

Thought #2:
When it comes to saturated colors, stay away from adding white into the mix because your eye is drawn towards the white and it makes your color pallet more spotted.  For example, white dress red shades of flowers.  (No white flowers in the bouquet)  Also with the use of saturated color, such as red use two shades, a dark and a light, and keep them defined for a real eye catching effect.

Thought #3:
We still are seeing a lot of Chocolate being used, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or otherwise.  But notice in this application it’s not pink or blue with chocolate, the bride allowed us to use what was in season and look how the pallet just pops.

Thought #4:
I know we said we were only going to talk about color, but when it comes to weddings color has to do just as much with giving the wedding personality as the designs themselves.  We are now seeing the use of more organic things as centerpieces, such as moss, twigs and flowers with the absents of a container such as glass, tin or otherwise.  This is a good way to go green.

Thought #5:
An eclectic look is always visually interesting because of it’s vary texture, shape and sizes, whether it comes to color or use of containers.  It also is more cost effective because you don’t have to have all the containers matching.  So go eclectic with shades of orange and eclectic with the containers they are in, silver, glass or stone.

P.S. Notice in this picture how a few loose blooms makes such a statement because of the space around them as well as the item itself.  Let’s go simple!
