The wedding was beautiful… the honeymoon was fabulous…. Now What?  Make sure that these two events are just the starting point of a wonderful and successful marriage.  They are NOT the end of courtship… just the beginning!!!

Read what couples suggest to keep the honeymoon in your marriage.

“There is so much to learn when you are married. Finances, each other, life. I have learned that communication is so vital in a marriage. If you don’t communicate, then both of you are in the dark. Money will get spent that you don’t have or feelings will get hurt. Really, it’s the little things that matter. It’s the “I love you” or the taking out the trash or washing the bathroom sink down after you use it. Those things matter. A relationship takes two. You can’t do it alone. Work together. Respect each other. Set guidelines and tell each other everything.”    - Sarah and Cory

“Always have fun! Keep a positive attitude at all times and realize you are in this for the long haul – eternity! Everything doesn’t need to be completely perfect overnight; just concentrate on making your spouse happy. If you’re goal is to do everything to make your husband or wife happy, you will have a much better marriage and you’ll be even closer to Christ. “   - April and Ryan

“My marriage advice would be to not take life too seriously. Laugh together every day. Just because you are married doesn’t mean life should become dull or unexciting. In fact it’s the opposite! Being married is so much fun! Don’t lose sight of who you were and what your dreams were on your wedding day. You have a lifetime to grow together, to plan, to experience the joys and the sorrows, and now you’ll always have your best friend right by your side!”  - Jessica and Dustin

“I will tell you Brides the same thing that all the workers in the temple told me… “Always be the first to apologize or be forgiving. You are going to be with him for time and all eternity. It will not be the first or last disagreement you face.” ” - Ana and Ricardo

“If you ever get frustrated with your husband, just stop for a minute and think back to your sealing. Think of the reasons why you agreed to marry him. Think of all the reasons you love him. Then tell him one of them. It will make both of you feel better!”  - Sue and Robby

“Laugh often. We’re always laughing and it keeps things happy and fun. We play innocent and harmless practical jokes on each other (i.e., this morning I removed all the towels from the bathroom while he was showering.) We also take time to share the funny things that happened during our day.”  - Elizabeth and Trent
