Having a reception in a church gym is one way to cut costs and still have a beautiful event! Most churches allow brides to use their gym at no charge. Another perk—you aren’t locked into using a specific (and usually expensive) caterer. Family and friends can prepare and serve delicious refreshments at a fraction of the cost that a caterer would charge.
